Will the spoiler fit on my car?

The spoiler will fit perfectly. We have measured the actual vehicle, of the actual vehicle year, and of the actual vehicle model, for that spoiler. Our high-tech molds create a perfect duplicate every time. If you see a spoiler listed for your particular vehicle, we guarantee it to fit.

How do I confirm my paint code information?

The only way to accurately order a painted spoiler is to know the color code for your vehicle. You are responsible for giving us a correct color code. All vehicles have an identification plate that has the cars original paint color code written on it. It is located in one location or another on the vehicle. Use our identification label chart to find the paint code location. Then go out to your vehicle to verify the correct color code.

The color code is the best and most accurate way for us to know which color we should paint your spoiler. We paint the spoiler according to the color code, NOT color names. Sometimes these codes can be hard to find. On some cars, the color code is located in the trunk, under the carpet next to the spare tire. These locations are starting points. They can be in different spots, even on the same model. Another option you can try is to call your new car dealership and ask them for the color code for your car.

How do I install the spoiler?

Please look at our installation instructions page. Although our customers have had good results installing their spoilers themselves, we do recommend a professional installation by an Auto Body Shop. You are going to have to drill holes trough the metal of your car. But once again, many of our customers, especially those, who are handy with tools and measuring, do an excellent job installing their spoilers themselves. Placement strips/ indicator strips, are included with each spoiler, (to help installer locate where drill holes are to be made in the cars trunk/ rear deck). Spoilers that come with a third brake light do come with the necessary wiring for the installation of that light. Spring kits are not needed since most of our high quality spoilers are so lightweight. (Spring kits are additional trunk springs added to ease the opening of a trunk, once again they are not are not necessary).

Is it hard to install?

Professionals take 45 to 60 minutes to install a spoiler. If this is the first time you have ever installed a spoiler, we recommend that you allow 2 hours for installation. This will give you enough time to carefully double check all your measurements, ensuring an excellent result. That being said, it may be well worth the time and money to have a professional body shop install your spoiler for you. Installation runs about $75 or so.

How long does it take to receive the spoiler?

The amount of time depends on if the spoiler is in stock. And it depends if you want it painted or not. Generally speaking, a painted spoiler takes a total of 8 business days or less to get to you. This includes the time it takes for us to ship the spoiler to you.

Will the spoilers paint color match my car?

Our stock/ factory colors, match the paints' color code for your vehicle exactly. They are OEM matching quality paints. If your car is older and has damaged paint, then of-course our spoilers’ new paint job will look better than your cars’ old paint job.

Does it come with a light? Does it have a 'third brake light'?

If the description for the spoiler says "with light" then the spoiler comes with a third brake light. If it does not say it has a light then is does not have a third brake light.

What is the warranty on the spoilers?

Spoilers Direct warrants each spoiler purchased to be free of defects in materials or workmanship for 2 years (1 year for the third brake light in the spoiler) to the original vehicle owner starting from time of purchase.

Exclusions to above warranty.
Warranty does not apply to spoilers installed on vehicles used commercially, or for off-road use; damage or failure caused by another faulty part, improper installation, accidents, misuse, modified or altered or if it was used in a manner for which it was not designed or intended. Customer is responsible for confirming, and then providing us with, the accurate and correct paint code and description information.

Will it look like a factory style/ factory installed spoiler?

Factory and OEM matching style spoilers look just like the spoiler you would get from the factory. The only difference is that at the factory the car manufacturer will remove the third brake light out of the back window if the spoiler has a third brake light built into it.

What are the spoilers' dimensions?

If you are asking this because you want to put a spoiler made for one car onto a different car, let it be known that we do not recommend this. We will not accept a return if you ordered the spoiler for a different car than the car we listed the spoiler to fit.
